The ewoks to me were a little iffy then, and still are.. But they don't bother me enough to detract from the entire movie as a whole, which is my favorite of the OT (I still love Luke's line "I am a Jedi, like my Father before me"). And from what I've heard, Hayden Christensan wanted to play Anakin a little more dark in AotC, but it was Lucas that wanted Anakin to be the whiney spoiled brat that he was in it. I think I'll like RotS much more, because Anakin is a Jedi.. Not a Padawan..
Well, I guess that would depend on how you/I look at it.
Of the original 3 films, Jedi is definitely the worst, and yeah, that is because of teddy bears kicking Stormtrooper ass.
However, if you include the first two prequels, then yeah, Jedi would be my third favorite as I don't care for much in those movies. Bad acting, bad CGI, Jar Jar, etc.
Putting them all in order (Not including Ep. 3, because I haven't seen it), my list looks like this...
Empire
Star Wars (I refuse to call it A New Hope)
Jedi
EP II
EP I

Of course I have the utmost respect and sentimental fondness for the source of all the rest.... but HONESTLY the rubber suits in the Cantina.... some of Luke's whining.... [img]wink.gif[/img]
I understand that 90% of the movie's flaws are the small budget and date that the movie was made. If any one of them were to be completely overhauled to match the visual and epic quality of the series as a whole, it would be the Original Episode IV.... but Lucas already attempted that with the special edition and almost got lynched in the process.
His poor mind is rotted away with age and he should just close the book and leave the six movies as they currently are.
... and 20 years from now, some cutting edge director will take the latest greatest technology and make an updated version of the legendary classic... and we can all bitch and moan about how great the original 6 were. [img]wink.gif[/img]

For me there is only the original Trilogy. The last 2 movies and this E3, will never fit in my Universe to what the original 3 made me picture Vader to be.
